Don't allow random apps to have all the permissions (ex. To be honest, you don't need to worry much about malware on Android as long as you're not an idiot and/or have decent security settings. This is one of the most common questions on this sub and it could also have been answered by a simple Google search. As the other commmenter said, Malwarebytes is legit, in fact it's the only one I know that is - but it is a good rule of thumb that the other PC AV companies are scams, yes.
